Shayde's Doggy Adventures

Hey There!

My name is Shayde and I own and run Shayde's Doggy Adventures located in Christchurch New Zealand. I have spent my entire life around dogs and after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Media and Communications I tried to get a job in the communications field but was unsuccessful, because of this I decided to work at a doggy daycare for a while just to keep myself occupied while I figured out what to do, this was the turning point for me. I always wanted to work with dogs but didn't think it would work out so after leaving the daycare and trying to find another job I started up this dog walking company.

I am also a volunteer at Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue once a week, helping out with things like cleaning and walking. You might see me at events CBBR is attending as I help out at those as well.

While a lot of dogs enjoy the big groups most other companies put their walking clients in, there are also a lot of dogs who either don't fit in with other dogs or just plain don't like them. This is where I come in, I will only ever walk a maximum of two dogs providing they are from the same household or extremely familiar with each other due to the owners being family or friends. I do this as I have found that a lot of dogs love solo walks where they get all my attention.
